Zendesk connector installation

1. Go to the control panel section Configuration / Integrations and click on "Edit configuration" in the Zendesk module:

2. Fill these fields:

- Zendesk URL: enter the URL of your Zendesk account (ej: https://subdomain.zendesk.com)

- Zendesk Username: this is the username you use to access your Zendesk account (ej: This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it )

- Zendesk Password: enter the password of your Zendesk account.

3. Click on "Check credentials".

4. If your accout URL, username and password is right a new form will be shown below to continue configuring your Zendesk integration:



- Configured extensions: assign to each extension a Zendesk user. All calls made and recieved with this extension will be associated to this Zendesk user.

- Show all incoming calls in Zendesk: if you want all incoming calls to be displayed in the popup window in Zendesk even though the extension is not going to answer it, check this option. If you disable it only the calls answered by the extension assigned to the agent will be displayed in the popup.

- Show recorded calls in Zendesk: if you have enabled call recording in your phone system and check this option, call recordings will be shown with Zendesk tickets created from calls.

- Get caller ID from Zendesk: when this option is enabled your phone system will look for the name of callers in Zendesk and it will be shown in your phone.


5. Zendesk app configuration:

5.1. Download app from this link.

5.2. Access to your Zendesk administrator account to the section "Admin / Apps / Manage" and click on "Upload app":

5.3. Select the app file downloaded (zendesk-XX.zip) and enter "Phone integration aaXXXXX" as application name where aaXXXXX is the name of your account:

5.4. Click on "Save". Then you must configure the application settings with the values that are shown in the phone system control panel (step 4 of this help).

When installed a new icon will be shown in the top bar in Zendesk. Each time a new call is made or received a popup will be displayed.
