How to call with Phonip Plus
Phonip Plus
Phonip Plus is a free desktop application for various platforms and the new version of the Phonip softphone with many new features and a more attractive design.
The first step to be able to use Phonip Plus is to download it from our download section (here) and run the downloaded program.
Important! – If you have MacOS follow the instructions below.
It is a simple installation in which you can choose the directory in which to install the program among other options, if you want to add a quick access and an icon on the desktop.
Once installed, you have to run the program that will ask for your username and password on its first run. At that point, you must indicate the username and password of the extension that you want to simulate with the softphone. If the data is correct, you can make and receive calls from the application.
Phonip Plus iOS
To install Phonip on macOS, follow these steps:
- Download the Java package from the following link: jdk-8u311-macosx-x64.dmg
- Once downloaded, open it, install it and restart your computer.
- Download Phonip Plus for MacOS: https://www.monema.es/download/3/
- Move Phonip Plus to Applications.
- In Applications, from the Finder, Control-click the app icon and select Open from the shortcut menu.
- Once opened, enter the account email and password as username and password.
